Arriving at Gatwick airport

  1. Drive your car to the Purple Parking car park

  2. Load your luggage into the shuttle bus

    One of the Purple Parking team will assist you in loading your luggage into the minibus.

  3. Sit back and relax

    Now sit back and enjoy the ride to the airport, hassle free.

Returning to Gatwick airport

  1. Collect your luggage

    Whilst collecting your luggage, call ahead to Purple Parking who will be waiting to take your call (you should be provided a number to contact them on when you book).

  2. Return to the terminal

    Once you’ve spoken on the phone to confirm your arrival at Gatwick, head towards the terminal forecout where your car will be waiting for you.

  3. Continue your journey home

    You are now free to grab the keys and head home.

How to get to Purple Parking

Purple Parking offers a free, fully accessible shuttle bus to and from Gatwick Airport which runs every 20 minutes as part of their park & ride service. Below is the directions from the M23, broken down into simple steps:

From the M23:

  1. Exit at junction 9 (towards A23/Gatwick Airport).
  2. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the M23 heading to A23/Gatwick Airport.
  3. Then at the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Airport Way.
  4. Continue on the A23 until the 3rd roundabout, then take the 3rd exit onto the A23 slip road to Crawley/Redhill, and merge onto London Rd/A23.
  5. Take the 4th exit on the roundabout, and stay on London Rd/A23.
  6. Take the 2nd exit on the next roundabout and remain on London Rd/A23.
  7. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Old Brighton Rd S.
  8. Then at the final roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Charlwood Rd.
